Board of Directors

The Fans Across America Charitable Foundation's Board of Directors is made-up of volunteers from a variety of careers and backgrounds. Collectively, their objective is to guide the Foundation towards its ongoing mission to assist families with serisouly ill and special needs children, ranging from a life-long illness to homelessness.

Bruce Petillo - Founder

Bruce Petillo brings over 17 years of sports, entertainment, marketing and business experience to the Fans Across America Charitable Foundation. A former minor league baseball player, Petillo wanted to find a way to blend all of his professional experience to help families with seriously ill and special needs children. Two personal experiences have added to the formula and helped drive the start of the Foundation: his son being diagnosed with epilepsy and his wife having a stillbirth at 21 weeks. As the founder of the Fans Across America Charitable Foundation, his mission is to help as many families as possible with the financial burden of the illness so they can focus on what really matters…their child.

Petillo currently serves as Director of Marketing for Syntellect, a leading technology company in Phoenix, AZ. Over the course of his career, he has also worked with a variety of well-known companies, including American Express, First Data Corporation, Macy’s, MGM Studios and Suzuki, and he has held management-level positions in both the agency and corporate environments. Petillo has known entrepreneurial success, as he owned and operated a marketing communications firm for more than five years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Pepperdine University.

George Macedon - Director

A retierd executive, George Macedon serves as a Foundation Director and oversees the Families In Transition (FIT) program for Fans Across America. Macedon possesses extensive experience in virtually all phases of executive-level management, finance, budget and asset administration, business development, national sales and marketing. With over 20 years at executive level positions in the Consumer Electronics Industry Macedon served fom1996 – 2001 as CEO for CommTek Communications Corp., the nations largest publisher of home satellite programming guides and entertainment publications. After the sale of CommTek in 2001, Macedon entered the Financial Services Sector in National Sales Management specializing in risk management, electronic transaction processing services, outsourcing services and identity solutions; retiring in 2010. Upon retirement Macedon has devoted full time in a volunteer capacity assisting in growth of Fans. Macedon holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology/Sociology from Arizona State University.

Jeremy Kraut-Ordover - Director

Jeremy Kraut-Ordover, CFRE is the Development Officer for the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Phoenix Children's is Arizona's only freestanding, independent children's hospital, treating half of Arizona's children diagnosed with malignancy. In his role at Phoenix Children's, Kraut-Ordover is responsible for a $12M comprehensive campaign for the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Prior to Phoenix Children's, Kraut-Ordover was the Associate Director for Development at California Western School of Law, California's oldest independent law school, and home of the California Innocence Project. Kraut-Ordover has also held appointments at San Diego State University and the Johns Hopkins Institutions. A graduate of Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, Kraut-Ordover is currently pursuing his Masters in Public Administration at Arizona State University.

James Reid - Director

James Reid raises the level of intensity at Your Source Financial. With his passion for service, teaching, and helping others he represents the future of the financial advisory business. He believes clients are best served by building relationships based on personal values, hard work and excellent service. “I feel at home at Your Source. I know my clients will too, based on the team approach to their needs.” He graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Administration.

Community service is one of James’s passions. He serves as a Committee Member to the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. As a Committee Member, James actively participates in fundraising for the non-profit organization by presenting Fiesta Bowl packages and opportunities to various business owners in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
